Well, the Hasbro panel at SDCC happened earlier today and goddamn was I disappointed. I expected a marvelous panel of new toy reveals and news! There were new toys reveled, but barely. Let's go in.
Sludge is getting a G1 repaint. That's it. No Stinger. Guess I'm repainting the Bumblebee afterall.
BEGUN, THE COMBONER WARS HAS. So we saw Menasor and Superion. Superion is... Superion. It's a robot made from jet planes and a... helicopter? And my god. ALPHA BRAVO
Menasor is... boring. The individual robots are so dull an uninspired it's not funny. The car modes are gorgeous, but the bots... eh. I may get it, I dunno.
Who the hell is the back pickup and the black car?
And the Derptimus Prime we saw at Botcon is actual Motormaster. That's better.
The animation looks on-par with Cybertron, Jesus...
Other Autobots are Overbite (the Dinobot) and Strongarm! Strongarm is the GURL and... I like it. She's thin, but not overly thin. Considering she turns into a goddamn pickup truck, that's something. She has a very Wheeljack-esc head, though.
Dinobots will show up. (c'mon Scorn!)
Joy. Some of the old Prime cast will be back. So more 'PARTNURZ' 'I NEDED DAT' and 'CRUSH CRUSH CRUSH'
and.... that's it. Very boring SDCC. I am disappoint.
Oh, and Legend of Korra was moved to digital. Thanks, Nickelodeon.
