So my less sexy friend seekerblackout did a similar list, so I shall do one as well. I hope I don't screw up...

So let's see what I bought this year:

10- Squishy Lockdown head thing. It's so creepy I love it. The sculpting is actually really good on him, for being a weird head thing.

9- Predacons Rising Darksteel and Sky-Lynx. I told myself I was never going to get them, but I ended up doing so. Darksteel was super cheap at Target, and I found Sky-Lynx at a Toys R Us for some reason. Darksteel is a hefty Voyager, with a pretty cool bear eagle mode. The robot mode is solid, nothing untabbing or not pegging together. Fun transformation, too.

Sky-Lynx is less impressive, but still cool. His dragon mode is super creepy, with the super thin limbs and torn apart wings. The robot mode is a nightmare to stand, but it's still cool.

8- Generations Hound. Hound is awesome, end of story. He may not be very movie-accurate, but he's still a cool toy. His Oshkosh Tactical whatever looks awesome, with tons of molded in detail. Including a spare tire! Transformation is fun and clever, and the robot mode is amazing. He comes with hella weapons, and ALL of the store on him somewhere. He's super posable, super awesome. I just wish his beard wasn't black.

7- TFA Voyager Wreck-Gar. I got this guy because I always wondered what the mold was like. And he is a super fun figure. I love his silhouette, it's so awkward looking. Hos robot mode is nice and characterful, despite the backpack. His face alone just oozes character and personality. The design is 100% accurate to the show model, and I love it for it. The garbage truck mode is also really cool, despite being, well, a garbage truck. My only TFA purchase of the year and I love it.

6- Generations Waspinator. I bought Waspinator because I saw him, which isn't a good thing to do in all honesty. You could get it because it's there, then end up hating it. But Waspinator wasn't hated. He's super awesome and on model to the Beast Wars design it's crazy. The wasp mode is kinda lame, but it doesn't look horrible. Way better then the original Beast Wars figure.

5- Generations Dreadwing. I'd probably switch him with Wreck-Gar, but I love this figure. He's an amazing retool of the Wave 1 Generations Megatron, and oh boy does he do it better. He's a nice purple color, and explodes some teal in robot mode. And his head. Oh man his head. Amazing lightpiping.

4- Generations Armada Starscream. I got Jhiaxus first, but oh man is Starscream way better. He's the Armada Starscream, but update so he actually moves. The mold is a perfect recreation of it, minus some color differences. Namely, the red. It's way too bright compared to the old Armada colors. The wings also don't become swords, but it's passable because the rest is amazing. The jet mode is great, the robot mode is great, it's all around great.

3- Evasion Optimus Prime. I'd just echo what countless others have said. It's amazing, buy it now.

2- Generations Windblade. Ah yes, the so called 'fan-built bot' (WHO WASN'T FAN BUILT I MEAN COME ON) Windblade. Windblade is lovely, guys. Her jet mode is kinda fiddly and doesn't peg together well, but that's not why I love the figure. The robot mode really exceeds the Fembot quota. She's super articulated, super emotive, and a lot of fun to pose. Her sword is a legit sword, not a soft plastic mess like a lot of the others. I don't like how her design isn't the Sarah Stone design, but whatever. She's cool.

1- Masterpiece Prowl. As a Masterpiece, everyone knows how cool and awesome they are. So with a little bit of cash, I got myself a Prowl way in the beginning of the year. Oh man, the figure was amazing. The engineering was perfect, the alt-mode was beautiful, and the robot mode was awesome for a G1 Bot. The head sculpt was amazing, too. I did a head shot of him a while back, so you can see for yourself. Sadly, I was stupid and sold Prowl for an overpriced Lego Movie set. I hope I can get him again some day. But with the Mastermind Creations Elita-1 coming whenever, it will be expensive.

And those are my top 10 favorite purchases of 2014. Hopefully 2015 holds some good stuff. Combiner Wars is... eh. RID is interesting me, though.

You did good, man. Nice list.

Your inclusion of Lockdown reminds me that I saw those head things at Walmart. I was almost tempted to get one.

Yeah, your logic on Waspinator was why I almost bought Arcee. I was like "I should buy her because I actually found her", but then I realized that was stupid.
